Stripes Or No Stripes

Don't spoil a nice white paint-job. 'Racing stripes' on a cooking model are like stuffing a sock down your trousers on a night out..... it looks impressive but leads to embarrassing disappointment when the action starts

I could give a long explanation about using stripes to break or emphasise a surface and the texture BMW already provide with the crease lines in the panels - but the short answer is no

I've scribbled on scraps of paper all sorts of little stripes and dashes to make mine subtly different but nothing works yet. I do like the black wheel arch protector you've got matt

Thanks really simple to do too. I just love the look on old 70s-80s 911s so thought i would give it a go. A fair few z3s have them too.

Think the stripes look good, just not sure i would put them on my own car as a permanent feature.

To rock the boat, it's not something I'd have originally considered but I think mac's Z4 at ZedFest looked good in silver with black stripes...

Any pics of them to refresh my memory

I have striped on my second car (a BMW mini) but it is the last thing I would do to a Z4. IMHO for some reason Minis look alright with stripes if not overdone (although I still prefer all black with nothing but black) but other cars can end up looking cheap.

Z4s don't need them, they are a beautiful looking car that look great on their own merit.
