Stressful day

I put mine car away with the top down and it does make it easier for me to get out (dodgy leg and neck) - The problem is then how to raise the roof :(

Leave the window open, lean in and press the button?

I have put carpet down the sides of my garage and an old sunbed cushion across the cabinets at end of garage but its still quite nerve wracking.
I have done some measuring and I think that the max width I can get in my garage and still get out of car is 180cm which almost certainly means that the next gen Z4 (if there is one) wont be for me as I will not leave it outside as at least 2 cars in my road have been broken into , that being said the list of cars that will fit is quite small and the ones I would have even smaller

Thats one of my considerations as my cars have to fit in the garage which was built in the 70's when cars were slimmer. The Z4 is just about on the limit to get in and out of reasonably comfortably, any wider it would be a no go. I never understand why people fill the garage full of junk and freezers and leave a new expensive car on the drive in all weathers
