I have a '07 3.0si Coupe. It has the standard "BMW Business CD" (whatever that means) radio in it . I rent cars all the time for work, and I have paired a ton of systems to my phone. I will admit that the first week I had this (last August) the BMW pairing method, if it can be called a method, was baffling. I was also surprised to find that you cannot stream music through the radio. I'd like to retain the original radio but stream Pandora or similar if possible, and retain the functionality of the steering wheel controls to the greatest extent possible. I have looked online at Gromaudio.com, but they do not have a phone number so that you can actually talk to a human. The installation sheets available on their site really only applies to the Roadsters, as their unit plugs into a harness connector accessed through the trunk behind the driver's seat. Has anyone here installed one of these, and if so how do you like it. I've installed about a dozen bluetooth stereos (5 since our handsfree law went into effect), and they don't scare me. If I have to go with another brand, I will, and I'll just store the original in case I ever want to sell the car and the new owner wants the original. I'm really tired of the cables needed to use Aux and charger.
Thanks in advance for any info or advice you can offer.
