Hey all,

Just got a letter through the post saying I had been selected for an invite to one of these. Anyone else heard of them?

Apprarently they are exclusive - for their most loyal customers and they offer big discounts that a bmw rep has to be on site to sanction on each deal. It primarily on new cars but they also do exclusive deals on demonstrators and their approved used range.

hmmm, might pop along out of curiosity.

I get these from the local mini dealer regularly. They put some good deals on, especially when a facelift or model change is imminent. If you want a real bargain, wait until the end of the month (or better the end of the quarter) after one of these events. If the dealership is under quota they'll sell their soul for a deal. A friend just got an extra 2k off an ex demonstrator 520 touring with a full set of toys fitted. They wouldn't entertain a deal on the same car earlier in the month :)
 
We've had invitations to 'VIP weekends' where there's apparently killer deals for loyal customers for one weekend only. I'm a loyal customer for having one warranty repair done and not being back since.

+1 :D I get these from the supplying dealer and the one i use for servicing.

Just 20,000 plus exclusive members. BMW is not exclusive. I've had hundreds of these over the year. - and trust me, I'm not special;

I thought it would be gimmik since Im definitley not a special nor a loyal customer having only bought one used car from them (unless they are counting all the times that I was there getting the HVA issue sorted as custom)....but I`m still going along to see what the claimed special offers are. Will let you all know what the "offers" were.

Given the timing, they're probably trying to shift BMW-branded 2012 Olympic merchandise at reduced prices.... :D
 
I had an invite to one at Peter Vardy in Edinburgh, only been there for an Inspection 1. It's so exclusive that it has been extended for another week :roll:.
