R Rydal Member Nov 11, 2012 #2 Almost certainly the starter motor taking a moment to disengage. I had mine replaced under warranty although I believe it can often be sorted with some lubrication. I expect its most notable when starting from cold in the morning?

D dario Senior member Nov 11, 2012 #3 is it first stage ignition? Like before you start the engine and you just get the dash light on?
