strange sound

Can you describe the “strange sound”

Maybe a faulty door lock, can you pinpoint where it’s coming from?

My 23i goes through a sequence of operating the door locks when left unlocked (sort of bru-bru sound). But does seem a bit random. It was doing it a few days ago when it was warm. But generally doesn't.
Somewhere i read these BMW's wake and run a test cycle, perhaps it was doing that.

after opening and closing, please wait (30 sec) weird sound and sometimes a few minutes after that will try to record sound, and place it here

Happens in both my Zed and 3 series, it’s everything going into sleep/power saving mode I think. Particularly noticeable still sitting in the car after popping the key

Just guessing, but if you got no answer to your question in English originally, then I doubt you'll get one in Dutch :wink: :roll:

Have you tested the battery? Low battery voltage causes all sorts of issues -
1). Ensure your battery is fully charged (via a 'smart charger') and test if it still makes this sound.
Most of the 'clicking noise' issues I can find on the web relate to starting the car, not when the car is off.
