Strange scratchy metallic noise? Help!

My Z4 M roadster may not be too well.
When ever i turn left and the centre of gravity swings over to my rear right wheel i hear a strange metallic light scratchy noise.
I've tried power washing the wheel and disc/calipers incase a stone was lodged but the noise still exists albeit only when performing left turns....i've not got a clue what it is.
I've got 1month left on the approved used BMW and the car has done about 32,000 2006.

Any ideas?
last month was an o2 sensor i've got a feeling this could be worse :(

Yep, shall book it in....i've done some research and the rear springs seem to be a big big issue, hopefully covered by warrantee.

Anyways thanks for the advice i'll post the outcome from the stealers.

Well turns out it was the rear drivers side spring.

Stealers are going to call tomorrow to let me know if its covered by approved used warrantee...pfff.

Trying to push for both springs to be replaced as this is whats usually done as a new spring and old one would not go to well on a high performance car in terms of handling.

Here's hoping

My broken spring was covered by the extended warranty so I'd have thought the AUC warranty would cover it too.
BMW North Oxford initially just replaced the broken spring but called me a few days later to bring the car back to get the other side done too - apparently the extended warranty issuers stipulated that both sides be done.

Well several calls later with the stealers they have agreed to replace both rear springs.

What a struggle, initially they insisted that the AUC warrantee would only cover the broken spring. I stated the new spring would put additional strain on the older corroded left rear one and lead to accelerated failure.

Also stated that in a high performance car the handling would be affected by the rear being unbalanced. Further phone call later and the lady agreed that both springs would be changed.

Her reason stated that "normally we only change the broken one but because the car is an M sport" they agreed to do both. :D

But yes these will be the last OEM's for my Z4M.

Thanks for the advice.
