Strange noise on shut down

Afternoon chaps.
I get a strange intake of air through the intake when I shut the car down, almost sounds like a valve has open and closed.
I've recently had the rocker cover replaced as mine had cracked, and a service. This is the only thing I can think that would have an effect? Rocker cover has breathers in doesn't it??

Anyone got any ideas? CCV??

Cheers

Does it sound like a blast of air being released? If so, that's normal. Mines done it ever since I bought the car.

If it sounds like a valve open/close it might very well be the DISA valve.
Mine does the same, when you shut down the car it loses vacuum.

I wonder if that's because the rocker cover and breather now works better as it's no longer broken? Could vacuum of previously been bleeding out?

+1 on confirming the DISA makes a valve/"cluck" sound. Totally normal - I had the unit out to visually inspect it functioning after doing the repair. The rubber diaphragm part loses vacuum and hence the sound.

There is a breather pipie on the front of the rocker cover iirc - I think I forgot to reattach mine initially when I did my gasket. Not sure if it would make the sound though as I reattached mine literally seconds after booting on the motor.
