Strange Noise from Steering Column

Morning All,

I noticed last night a strange noise from the steering column, when turning the steering wheel past the first quarter turn to the left it makes a loud squeaking noise. Almost like a dry metal on metal rub, this only seem to happen when the car is hot after a long drive. I checked it this morning when cold and no noise at all.

Any ideas?

Spoke to the garage this morning, he thinks that it could be one of the rubbers on the steering column.

Yes that excatly the noise I'm getting, the car goes back to te garage today, couple other things for them to look at. so hopefully they will get this sorted
