strange missed phone call

Since I've been in my flat my house phone lasted a month being plugged in since all I got was automated "hello..... Have you taken out a loan blah blah blah"

Never missed it since.

If I had a choice I'd never have one. Old tech that provides no benefit over a mobile.

We don't have a phone in the house.....no point really. We have a landline because we needed it with the broadband but that's it. And we only got that because I was getting fed up of the speed of free mobile broadband we were using, wasn't slow but wasn't super quick either. Plus the only people who call are my parents and since I showed my dad how to FaceTime (worst thing ever) that's all he does. Not great if your trying to watch TV or want to pull faces.
