Had this strange knocking sound coming from the front right of the car. Now I took it to a couple of local garages to have the car inspected and even went to an mot centre which has one of those ramps which moves under the wheels and no1 could work out exactly what it was.
One guy said it was most probably a wishbone bush.
The other said its a top mount.
I then decided to take it down to my local specialist who took the car for a drive and was back in 10 minutes. Apparently the nuts on the strut bars where slightly loose. No annoying knock now!Was worried as someone told me it coulod be the steering rack
