So my Z4C renewal date is 12 June.
My local broker (who was very helpful when I bought my Ruby Black one) called me to check if there were any changes before they looked for renewal quotes.
I had been pleasantly surprised to find my Montego Blue one had a stainless exhaust (centre and rear sections) as it means I'll never need to replace them (and it sounds a bit better too)!
But when I mentioned that to the broker it became quite an issue! It seems that insurers regard this as a modification, and my existing insurer didn't even want to quote! Which made me think if you get a new silencer from KwikFit surely that makes the car modified too, as it isn't OEM!?
Anyway Chris Knott Insurance to the rescue and all sorted out for 12 June thankfully!
I wonder if I need to tell them if I get round to fitting the valve dust-caps I have with a BMW logo on them?
