Strange electrics, no boot access!!!

My Z4 has suddenly decided to disallow access to the boot, electric windows, central locking, and it'll constantly fire the alarm off when you're driving.

I can't do a battery reset as I can't get into the boot, I can't connect via obd as that's not working either. Is there a master fuse(s) in the fuse box that'll reset everything????

Just to embelish; the noise is a high pitched continual screech, it goes on for about 60 seconds, then stops, it repeats this for 3 or 4 times, then finishes with several beeps. After those beeps, it won't fire the siren for another few minutes, probably 5-6, then the process starts again.

I've removed the live feed to the engine, from the engine bay, I'm hoping that addresses the noise at least.

Well, it looks like you'll be having another promotion; it was indeed fuse 10, the car has sprung back into like and now normal service has been resumed... :-)

Glad to be of service sir. Oh wait, does this come with a hefty pay rise?

Cheers, tug.

Yes, tell your boss you need at least 10%; the alternative for me was to remove the GM5, drive to Widnes, have the relays done, drive home, hope that it was the relays, but obviously mine would still have had the fault so it would have been a waste of money.

Famous last words, when it went wrong "It can't just be a fuse, that'd be mental if a single fuse caused this much disruption!!". :D

That wouldn't work as i am the boss! and renowned for being a tight old git!!
