Stow away hatch - Roof - Latch holding bar broke part number needed any help

Hi guys,

So basically had the roof down enjoying the weather came home and put the stowaway back in only for the connecting bar to break. Im looking for the specific part but I can't find it any help.

Im looking on the REAL OEM and cant seem to find it. No5 isnt the actual part so ive highlighted it in the image.

Can you please help me with the part number so i can fix this asap or if anyone has the part id be happy to buy it.

Hi, this is a common fault..... unfortunately you can't buy the individual part (no5) you have to buy the whole shelf! You can repair it....here is a link to the thread, I found it extremely useful, I've done it myself: https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=110340

Or look for a used part from one that is being parted out.

they break for a past time.
local stealer broke mine then tried to wiggle out of it.
i persuaded them to fix it tho :roll:

Part repaired. Just need to refit.

4mm x 30mm countersunk screw
4mm spring washer
4mm repair washer
