I know it's been covered before (thats how I found out about it) But just to reiterate if anyone is undecided about paying £75.00 + P & P for a gear knob, be reassured my gear change was very notchy and difficult 1st to 2nd, was considering CDV delete but the V1 is a reverlation the change is now not notchy at all and is super smooth through all gears. :D

How V1 looks in my Zed if your interested, can't stress enough what a difference it's made, as someone else has said CDV delete only noticable when really going for it this mod transforms the gear change totally :D

I had one on my previous zed, you won't find a better knob for the money, so to speak :D

Had one on both my old Z4M's and now my MC has one (custom ///M 5 speed). Like night and day.

best place to purchase? can only find US site. Any links would be

* nevermind.... should have looked further. I like the box set with the hand brake lever.

Appreciate that dude

I was planning on going down the F10 M5 gearknob route, to retain the illumination and OEM look... I guess its mostly personal preference but that's difficult to establish when you're thinking about buying and can't test either one! Anybody have any opinions who's tried out both the M5 knob and this one?

I have one on my MC too. Feels nice and well made, I still have the original knob but never drove the car with it on so can't give a comparison.
