Just fitted the gear knob and handbrake handle, these are fantastic quality and a lovely touch to the interior.
Really impressed with how it has improved the gearshift with the reduction in height and the mass smoothing out the shift.

Hmm. Reduction of weight would make gear Changes worse?

Sorry , there is a reduction in height and an increase in the mass. The increased mass gives the gearchange a slightly more fluid feel.
Subjective I know but I would not swap back.
Only downside is when it is subzero overnight it is more than a tad cold.
Opposite to the issue on the TVR Tuscan where the gear knob got exceedingly hot, I think later ones had some form of heat shield or thermal break fitted in the assembly.
