Storage behind seats..

Only spotted this in my z4mc the other day! Is it standard? What do people use it for if they have it? It's a bit impractical to get things in and out of...

I stuck a bag of microfibre cloths in there a while back. can't fit much else in there :lol:

I also found mine by accident when I first bought my hard top and fitted it. I keep the Allen key for the roof in mine. Anything else would be a pain.

I dont keep anything in the nets but my detailing bag is chucked behind the seat

My iPad mini fits in it along with my work pass... Cloths is a good idea! It's just a really odd place to put storage, especially having to move the seats to reach it properly :lol:

I used to put hats and scarves in there when I had roadster.

Hmmm. I was talking about the pockets on the back of the seats. If it's the cubbys you're on about then sun tan lotion with a cloth for my hands - behind the passenger seat, easily accessible without seat movement

Haha - Thanks! Just realised they have pockets as well.

Do you mean actually in the cubby or above them? if in - have you got pictures?

On cars with the upgraded hi, the plastic boxes with the storage are removed and there are mounting points for a set of speakers which are subsequently covered by a set of grills.

I have an old map in the pockets attached to the back if my seats!

Never used it though!!

It may vary by market, the seat back nets were part of the optional "convenience" package in the U.S. I never use them, the seats are close to fully back, I'm not sure there's much room left, and too much a bother to access for the tiny bit of storage gained. "Convenience"? :thumbsdown:

Still learning :? got the car out earlier & moved seat forward , Knew about the cubby holes but then i discovered the nets on seat backs totally useless unless you want to store a empty wallet in them :wink: which i happen to have as it happen's :?
