Brakes are on the car, the kit is very well finished and everything fits perfectly
Fitted the stoptech pads for now with some motul rbf660 fluid, bedding in procedure completed and the brakes feel good, nice firm pedal and very progressive.
They're not, Tom. They're light weight wheels of an unknown offset (secondhand), but they do fit without spacers even when running square-shouldered track tyres, so they're roughly OEM size. Anyway, I'm too poor for APs!
As long as the disc and calliper fit within the wheel, I suppose a bit of fine tuning with spacers is inevitable. Already I have marginal wheel clearance inboard at the suspension uprights and outboard at the wheel arch liner, which necessitates using different spacer sizes for each set of wheels. Hopefully the additional factor of a BBK won't complicate that delicate balance too much!
Hoping to get a day in the next month or so, I will let you know, I've given them some hammer on the road and so far they are very stable and consistent, if anything I expect the pads may let them down slightly purely due to the friction they offer as they aren't full on track pads.
Will definitely not clear on 18s, I had to remove the weights on the 19s (outside edge) as they were in contact with the caliper
They do make a smaller disc version with the same caliper that I imagine will fit 18s, 355mm from memory. If you visit their website you can print a template off and try it inside your wheel
