Stonechips on door sill ?

Hi all

DSB Z4

Cleaning the car today I noticed the driver under door sill (in front of back wheel) had what I thought was stuck on white deposits, turns out it could be stones that punched through the plastic wrap and gone through the paint ... is this easy to sort as a smart repair or does the protective film needs to be removed completely to do a proper job?

Would have to remove film to do proper job.

Would think a touch up pen would do the job though if you are careful.
