Stone chips on bonnet

Does the z4 have a problem with stone chips on the bonnet? Mine has loads and being a black one I suppose they stand out more. Is a bonnet respray the way to go or can anything else be done? Anyone had there bonnet resprayed give an estimate on price, my paint is jet black or Schwartz (668).

Its certainly not uncommon for 85s 86s to have had at least a nose cone paint & wingtops + bonnet
The decision is whether to paint the nose on or off :wink: once the bumper is removed I don't think they ever re-fit to factory shut lines but i'm sure" srhutch" would disagree

I made sure I used new clips when refitting my bumper :wink:

Regarding the bonnet chips though, I would rather fill with paint then denib or wet sand and then polish.

Had to get my bumper painted though as it had been done before and was the wrong colour as well as being full of chips.
