Stone chip resulting in paint flake

So I noticed this on my bonnet today

I hadnt even noticed the rather sizeable chip till today let alone the flake so must be recent, unless it was already covered by another flakey bit and its come off with the power washer. Is there anything I can do?

Sadly glueing it down will result in failure later as the reason for the flake is moisture ingress. Once the surface is breached like this the only way to fully resolve it permanently is to remove the entire area and some surrounding paint and have it painted/a localised repair, sanded, primed and painted. You can take short cuts but it will likely fail later.

I'm going to try chipex to sort out all my stone chips. comes with a 100% colour match guarantee! Has anyone else tried this??
