Stolen BMW valve caps

All right!! Who took it?!? I went to check my tire pressure this morning and one of my BMW logo valve caps is gone. Since it has the BMW logo on it, either some punk in the hood is sporting a new nose or lip ring. Not ear rings cause they only took one. Or some thieving BMW driver didn't want to spend 15 bucks to replace just one missing cap. Unless they took it to make a tie tack, not cuff links cause they only took one.
Anyway I don't know if I want to drop another 15 to replace mine if their gonna just get taken again. I think I'll just get generic chromes from Pep Boys and paint them with Wheel Silver paint. Does any one else have a problem with stolen valve caps. My Honda had them for five years with no problems.
 
I was thinking about buying those BMW logo valve caps, but they are much bigger and weigh more than normal metal caps. You better use the noraml caps to avoid people stealing them.
 
I didn't have the BMW logo valve caps, only the OEM metal ones, but I've still only got one of those left. They've disappeared one-by-one, no doubt onto the numerous E46 and E90's in the car park I use.

Not too bothered about it though, I've just replaced them one-by-one with generic black plastic ones; they're a few pence each and don't corrode onto the thread so they're always easy to remove. I also quite like the look as they match the colour of the valve stem so they don't stand out from a distance.

To be honest I bought these and debated wether to put them on, they weigh a ton. They're on there and if stolen the wheel painted rubber ones is the way I'll go.
 
I have chrome anti theft ones on my MR2, its funny when everyone says they'll get stolen then when i ask them to try and remove them they just spin freely.

I just pulled some vavle caps off some guys Z4. It was great....looked new an everything!
