M3 - 343hp/365 Nm, 1,549kg

Z4 - 265hp/315 Nm, 1,385kg

BMW Z4 Coupé 3.0si Sport 2d 0-60 mph 5.5 secs
BMW 3-Series M3 Coupé 2d 0-60 mph 5.0 secs

So not that much in it, and the Z looked to get a slightly better start, so yeah I would say stock

It's an impossible question to answer as we don't know it's a stock M3....

Absolutely - but then both could be non stock in which case we're just pissing in the wind.

The Z4 seems to have modified suspension at least. Whether that's a hint of anything else, who knows.
