I have no idea what ill do if its rubbish, the space is wasted. Maybe i could fit a hamster cage or a fish tank in there![]()
hamster wheel - KERS ftw!I think I may still have one lying around somewhere but it's easy enough to make your own. Use a piece of card and trim it roughly to shape then test it trim it test it etc.ryanwhite19 said:Im curious on this to. Do you still have the template for the cubby hole ?
I know what you mean with the rain. Changed oil, filter, air filter 2 front wishbone bushes 2 from arb links and 2 rear springs yesterday in the wind and rain on my gfs mums z4. Was horrible!NathanZ4C said:Sorry slow progress so far. I have everything I need. I've only got as far as removing the footwell plastics and doing a test fit of the sub as shown in the pictures.
This weekend was mostly taken up by having the control arm bushes replaced and a gear box oil change. It's hard because of the weather too. Don't really want to be doing it in the rain.
I will hopefully do it the weekend coming now.
I'm happy to post a template out if you want to pm me your address.

Took a feed from the front footwell speakers which worked a treat. The wiring was fed through pretty easy. I'd say the hardest part was lifting the carpets in the boot.
My amp and re-q have been slotted in next to the battery. I've only got one JL sub in on the passenger side but I've put the wiring in ready for the drivers sub.
The bass as ud expect is a lot better. I don't believe the sub works as well as it did in a small custom wooden box I had in my previous car but it's heightened the bass. That said it still feeds like the stereo is missing something it's just not quite there and I haven't been able to put my figure on what it is. I really think the head unit would benefit from a upgrade but I was really hoping to avoid don't that as I think it will ruin the look of the dash.
