Perfect weather for shifting this :P
usual dickhead interweb fukit comment

Assume your nurse left the room to empty your bedpan

Unsure what the guys issue is. I assume your comment was posted during the recent bout of snow and general terrible weather? The date stamp seems to correlate with this anyway.

It's certainly not top down weather just yet.

I personally think £750 for the hardtop, cover and stand is great value. You can make the side covers yourself if needed. They're simply cosmetic and cover the latching mechanism. I'm very surprised this hasn't sold.

Hi
Yes the stand can unbolt into kit form and should fit into the boot, or the passenger seat no problem

Stuart

Hi Stuartt. It's a 3 1/2 hour drive from her in Worcestershire; let me think on about if and when I could make it happen and I'll pm you.
Hi Flake, I picked up a hardtop a few weeks ago, 2 1/2 hour drive, stand and all the gubbins fitted in the boot

Indeed my comment was posted on a day when the weather was particularly bad across the country , as you point out £750 is far from ott for a decent hardtop & my quip was merely intended as a timely "bump" for the op , clearly mr sticky has downed a few on a Saturday evening then got his balls in a knot  easy done

You don't need to explain Andy, his or her outburst was not called for and it needs to wash it's mouth out with soap.

Thought this comment was perfectly reasonable when you consider the weather we have had recently, and the asking price for the hardtop is very reasonable at £750, I paid £900.00 for mine a couple of months ago in mint condition with stand, centre lock cover, locking key, side covers and hardtop cover

Thanks for the comments guys not sure why Sticky felt the need to hijack the thread and send it off on a tangent but I appreciate the extra air time I’ve got from all your comments.

I paid £750 for the hard top when I bought it and then bought a stand from eBay so money spent is about £825 and in the 30 months or so I’ve owned it it’s been on the car for probably 8 weeks in total :headbang:

I’m not a greedy man and as I’ve said it’s not in the way so if it doesn’t sell now, I’ll eBay it in October .

Thanks again Stuart

I've been on this forum for some years, so seen a fair few hardtops come and go. £750 is a very good price

Hi Is the roof still for sale?
If so are you negotiable on price?
I ask as i would need to repaint the roof as my car is interlagos blue plus and unfortunatly for me i am up north just inside the next country "Scotland" so a trip to collect adds significantly to the potential outlay.
any movement on price would be usefull not sure if its alowwed but as its not on ebay but my e-mai;l adddress is [email protected]
many thanks!
