Stink after driving

I am a newbie and a new owner of a perfect low mile '07 si coupe. The car does everything right, love all aspects but it stinks once it has been driven for any length of time and shut down, particularly in the garage, not a brake smell. I am a gearhead and have abilities but have not yet put it on a lift. Obviously it sits a lot, maybe a dead cat on the cat..?? any suggestions will be checked out. Thanks! PJ
 
Stinky ?
I have experienced "stink' twice with my Zed.

First time it was after I drove through some rancid grease that escaped from a local fish and chippy.
A good pre-spray followed by a power wash into the wheel well, rocker panels and the inner fender area in the engine bay, worked eventually. But the stink didn't give up easily, so be prepared to redo it.

Second time was when I ran over a plastic bag that managed to attach itself on the exhaust system.
That took a little while to finally burn off. The melted plastic was also stubborn, but eventually cured itself.
