Well I got in from work just over an hour ago. MrsG is working until 10pm

The Sun's out and the traffic, on those enticing Cornish switchback lanes, will be virtually none existent in another 30 mins. So, before I start to sound too much like a scene from the Blues Brothers, I'm off out in the Zed.

Who's with me? (Not literally)

See you all on the other side. :D

Well that was well worth it. A cracking drive over to Dartmoor Via Gunnislake & Tavistock. A road I love that normaly has some Traffic on it. Not a car in sight in either direction. Yee Haa :driving:

Drove up to Staple Tor and took a few snaps for you wonderful lot to share. Hope you like them.

You must have taken a bucket & sponge with you too Buzy !
Nice pics and a spotless car too - even half way through the hoon !

Went to Fernworthy reservoir last year and I don't recall seeing a signpost for the Sittaford Tor. :(

Shall we have a meet one weekend maybe September, you mentioned somewhere in the forum about Exmoor?

BTW Nice car

Definately up for a meet once the emits go home. Figured Exmoor would pull the Bristol Zeds along, so a decent number. But there are so many good quite roads in the SW, we are spoilt for choice.

Fernworthy is a nice spot for a walk. The roads are pretty narrow around there though. I do love the main road from there to Two Bridges. Some of the compresions and corners give the ///M a proper workout, without needing to do a zillion miles an hour.

(PS Just checked the OS map it was Staple Tor I was at in those Photo's.)

Yes I do like that road even though it's 40mph speed limits on Dartmoor (am I right) ?

Yep it's 40mph throughout the National park. It’s still a fantastic place to drive your car. Admire the scenery down the straights and have fun around the many, undulating, clear sighted, off camber, corners. :D

I'm sure we would be up for that chaps, if we have a bit of notice
