Still not bored

I've had mine 5 months now and done about 3.5k miles, and still a quick pop to the shop for milk turns into a 45min blat.

Yea know how you feel. I keep coming up with excuses to drive mine and mine is only a 2.0!!! If I had gotten an M I may have never seen the wife and kids again!

Same here. Got it in May. It's been away from me a couple of times, ..body shop, and garage, and each time I have what feels like a long wait to get my hands on it just like when I first bought it, then I make up trips I don't really need make.

It just keeps on giving...11k in the last 12 months and most of the last 3k have been awesome!

I've been drive a Zed since 2003 and have never been bored. I took a 130 mile drive today down the Delaware River and back just to enjoy my Zed and the beautiful weather today... :D :driving:

Over 3 years and 26,000 miles with the 'M'. Brilliant experience, love driving it, just back last week from a trip to Kent and the Cotswolds car was faultless as usual. Proper 'old school' sports car but with BMW reliability.

I got a Z because I was bored - driving was just a pain-in-the-arse chore! That why I started cycling/running everywhere. Now I'm learning where all the speed-bumps are and going for early morning blasts and browsing car-cleaning products  . My wife/kids are rather bemused. 2 weeks, 1200 miles = :D

I dont think i never get bored, 20 months and my longest serving car. Have chnaged 8 cars in 8yrs and this is a keeper.

Approx 1,500 miles in and still delivers a massive smile to my face each time I approach the car. The smile widens when I actually drive it.

The wife can't believe it. She gets free fuel with her job so I used to use hers all the time, from little errands to long distances. Now, though, I can't remeber the last time I used her car...

38,000 miles and the car still gives me a buzz.

Defo the best car I have owned and certainly a more involved drive than the M3 I had.

Sadly she is going to have to go shortly, will be missed

Glad your happy mate!Just thought i mention i'm looking for a Z4M Roaster to go from my 2003 3.0SE.And this threads are fueling me to put mine up for sale soon as the recent works need to beed carried out to it.

I just really really wish they was a little faster and little bit differnt looking from the normal Z4..You know some sligth wider archs.. Bit ligther weigth.Think being a bit of a porker doesn't help.

To be honest i think i better test drive one first.Problem is i never seen one in real life parked up or anything.Went to my local BMW dealer Stephen James Ruxley .. Didn't have any in stock i could view... or any in the other branchs?Rather rare cars(another thing i like)

It's the only car I've kept for over 2yrs, the others didn't last more than 13 months and that includes the Z4MC arch nemesis, a Cayman S.

Fast or slow I love driving it :driving:

I've had mine for 2 years next month. Not bored at all! It still makes me smile every time I'm in it. :D :driving:

I do actually get bored occasionally when I drive just this car for too many days in a row... :( probably as it becomes too precise and predictable... When I borrow my friend's supercharged mustang or supercharged Z3MC, things get veeery different as you know that the car wants to bite you bad.... and wants to kill you too!

the other cure is to drive a 116i for a week as a temp car from the dealer.... then coming back to the M roadster I get the feeling I'm piloting a jetfighter! :driving: Then it starts to fade away again as I get used to it....
