Still Looking for E85

I’m still looking for a loved E85, 2.5si or 3.0si, must be manual and less than 90k miles, with service history and in good condition. Needs to be within 100 miles of Swindon. Anything out there?!

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Someone on here compiled a database of all the 3.0Si and M cars and based on that it looks like only just over 600 manual 3.0Si Roadsters were registered in the UK so you'd need to be pretty lucky to find one with FSH and less than 90K miles in the area you've specified, although there may be more 2.5Si models around.

FWIW I wouldn't be too dogmatic about mileage as these N52 engines don't have a problem with 6 figure mileages. I'm sure someone has one with over 200K and there have been a couple with over 150K. My 330i daily has the same engine and is still performing fine on 127K.

I mean, my Z is on auto trader at the moment and ticks all those boxes. I am asking top money knowing it's sort after engine/trans config with lower miles (87k) and fsh. It's an individual spec with lots of extra's on an 09 plate, but you haven't mentioned budget so it's tough to say if it's what you're after. Any questions though give me a shout.

I don't know if you are still looking or what your budget is. Like @enuff_zed said above, I live near Inverness but bought mine in Kent five years ago. Good advice from @enuff_zed. However, I've put my 3.0 on Gumtree a couple of days ago. Hoping to place an advert on the forum later. It is Toledo Blue with 67700 miles on the clock if that's of interest.
