Still leaking!

Well, I got in my car today after it had been parked up in the rain, and there was a small puddle of water by the door on the passenger side :x
It seems to have come in near the bottom of the passenger door. My first thought was the roof with it being a convertable, but there was no dampness on the roof. Any idea why water could have got in at the bottom of the door? Is this common? Any ideas?
 
I've had time to take a closer look now. Water is exiting the drain hole at the bottom of the door as expected, but it is leaking out between the metal and the door card along the way. Now, this pretty much sounds like the membrane to me. Am I safe to just take it in and get the membrane replaced?
 
Had the car in at BMW today. Looks like someone had done a bodge job on the door membrane, no wonder it was leaking! New one in now, so should be sorted.
 
Ok, I still have problems :(
Water is no longer getting through the door membrane but it is still getting in from somewhere! It's leaking in at the bottom of the passenger door so it must be getting past a seal somewhere. Seals all look fine and the door fits and closes perfectly. Any ideas?
