Hey everyone! No worries I'm still alive and kicking! The Habu has not gotten me yet. I've even seen a few Z4's around the island. Now to tag them and bum spirited rides from them

Not much has changed for me....Oh who am I kidding! A lot has changed! I'm a Dad now! Ladies and Gentleman's I present to you Miss Mini Aebous!

So for my next question, at what age can I put a carseat in the Z4? Also will the car seats from Recaro fit?

Congratulations Aebous! Long time no read

Went through the same thing around two years ago and still feeling the ill effects of sleep deprivation. All good though and of course, totally worth it.

As for your question...(UK law: United Nations standard, ECE Regulation 44.04 or R 44.03 or to the new i-size regulation) - it's all about the weight. Go rear facing isofix with passenger airbag off until they hit at least 9kg, then front facing with seat as far back is it will go, isofix and airbag back on.

Recaro do a child seat but it's quite narrow. I used a Maxi-Cosi Pebble upto 9kg age then swapped to a Maxi-Cosi Pearl up until about 18 months. Now moved onto a Britax as it doesnt require the Family-Fix base and has more leg room for mini-inkey$ although technically the Pearl works up until about 4 I think.

Congratulations, such a cutie.

I'll be going through all this later this year but fortunately for me it'll be my son and partners, I'll be a granddad to twins.

With only having 2 seats is it ok to have a favourite

That just means more trips! More chances to go fast!

My daughter will soon be 2....i have a few thousand pictures somewheres. In other news,

Yep getting stationed in California (Travis AFB). Not too far from San Francisco. I hear they have rice a roni there....

Haha, yes I still have the Z...however I don't know about the condition as it's been in storage. I'm sure I'll need new tires, maybe a battery and worst case an alternator.

Hi Matt,
Good to hear from you again, been a wee while.
Have fun going back to Cali....pity we won't see you on these shores again soon then.
Best of luck with the move back
