Sticky/Stiff Steering Fixed (I hope)

Well I've fitted a grease nipple to the servo gear gearbox on the steering column as suggested on here and the bimmerforums but then wasnt sure how much grease to pump in. I decided on one good pump from large grease-gun and I think theres a definite improvement. It seems to me that the steering is smoother, so far I'm pleased.

Now the question for all you good people out there is how much grease is the correct amount. Should I leave it with just the one pump and see how it goes or would some more be better?

I think I pumped in 2 or 3 times as I thought the hole was quite deep before it would reach the gears but I suppose it depends on the gun being used. When I took the nipple out I could see the grease had filled the hole.
