Just noticed I have sticky crap all over my car - you can see it glinting in the sun on my windscreen below :

I can feel it all over the paintwork too, think it must be sap or pollen, but I don't leave the car outside or park under trees. Really annoying - anyone else get this ?

Hopefully a normal wash will get it off later this week...
 
Not often right now, but I'll be on my way through on Tuesday next week :wink:

Yeh I get the same in our driveway due to the overhanging trees (I have a garage I should be using but it always seems too much effort when you're in and out).
 
That's why I said 'if you have problems' - if it's left untouched in the sun e.g. While you go on holiday, it can set like concrete
 
Car is always in the garage unless I am cleaning it. No issues putting it in and out. Is a pain when Ou wash it, go to wax it and there's little white specks of pollen off the tree on it :roll:

If you end up with honeydew (aphid crap) covering the car, it looks like tree sap but is even sticker and sets very hard, very quickly - b'stard insects if they're not ramming their arseholes through their brains and onto the windscreen, they're crapping all over the bonnet :wink:
 
That could be what is on my windscreen... It smears, but a fingernail has a hard time taking it off. Suppose I mustn't grumble - at least it is wall to wall warm, sunny, top down hooning weather :driving:

I shall give her a bath and a waxy massage on Friday :D
 
There is a big building project about half a mile away from where I live. Wash car car instantly covered in dust I feel your pain :headbang:
