Sticking front roof catch

My roof motors are both working ok, but the front catches stick sometimes and need a gentle nudge from inside to release (mainly the left side) to get the roof moving.
Has anyone else had this and know of a fix? I think the roof has been off at some point in its history and while it opens and closes fine overall, I think the catch alignment may be a couple of mm out.
It's not a show stopper, though if I'm opening remotely with the gap-tech, I have to be quick if it sticks, as I worry it'll overload the motor.
Is there any recommended lubrication?
TIA

My wife's started doing this about a week after we bought it.
I thought I'd try the cheapest solution first, and applied a very light smear of vaseline to all the contact surfaces.
Touch wood, since then we've had no issues at all.

Thanks folks, I'll give this a go. I wasn't sure if the catches were supposed to be kept 'dry'.

I'm not sure either, but vaseline worked ok for me in the short term (so far).
I will be checking it, cleaning and re-applying regularly, as obviously it will trap dust.
