Sterling Grey - Gloss or Matt Black Grills?

Just got some kidneys from (gingertosser) Darren.

My plan is to try out black grills with the chrome surround.... anyone got pics of chrome/black or black/black with sterling....
Remember I have xenon (chrome inserts) and I have de-gingered headlights!

I'm thinking black grill with chrome surrounds will work?

Has to be done, I personally don't like the grey grills.
They need to be satin black with chrome surround, did mine at beginning of year and no stone chips yet, holding up well.
I don't have any pics of Sterling grey but I do have some pics on my Toledo blue and my previous silver cars.

My preference is for either matt or gloss, but minus the chrome trim. Really down to your own preference though.

Mine are all matt Black...

(And I only thought a week or two back when you posted some pics, that your grilles needed changing. - Just didnt want to upset you ! )

Mine are currently matt black, inserts came black and the surround was chrome and I plasti dipped it black.

I would say go gloss black every time! Planning on changing mine.

Keep 'em grey! Much more class for a sterling grey car and only available as OEM on 3.0's IIRC.

Agree quality look

Yet another +1 to keep them the oem colour. ...and that's coming from a Sterling owner who's changed most of the car. All you're doing is designating it as a lower model.

However it's your zed so if you like it go with it

Satin - not too shiny, not too matt!!

Just done mine with a matt black paint follwed by saint lacquer and happy with the end result
