Sterling Grey dash and console

Do it finisterre!
I think a fuzzy felt dash would be good that you could stick farm animals to. Then a different scene could be created each week. Genius

Brilliant work Dreamer - very subtle and classy. Reminds me of Fiat Coupe's too funnily enough

Not sure how well itd work with a brighter/stronger colour such as turquoise, sorry I mean Maldives, or red, but painting black would be a cheaper way than sourcing Piano Black trim I guess.

Nice job - I like the look
Wonder why the cf wrinkled. That would worry me asnitnworento'/ in the back of my mind tomdo my Jag.
Wonder if it's because it's concave and thus won't stick well?

CJ - it was the heat of the aluminium. When i was in the South of France last summer it just got so hot the wrap started to inch away from it more and more.

Ally - Your right It is very colour dependant. I wish i had looked into the cost of leather now after seeing people are getting steering wheels recovered for £100. Might not have been that much.

On another note: I tell you what, the more i look at the door handles i've just wrapped in gloss silver (which isnt that glossy and looks incredibly like the standard paint finish) the more im super chuffed with them. £3 :o and if it does looks rubbish in a few months only 10 mins to re-wrap them. CANT RECOMMEND doing them enough people!

Ebay link for you all of the stuff i used

Dreamer - the ally gets no hotter than any other surface in a given place. In fact since it reflects it may actually be cooler. Or of course feels hotter because the way it transmits heat, just as it feels colder in Winter.

Worry for me is the black cf may not stand direct sun in warmer seasons and in the z I guess it could hit 60c+ easily.

I guess the ally may not get any hotter but covered with a black material and maybe the combo arent good for each other. I dont know.

It did stick fine to begin with and it looked superb. But after about a few months the corners around the gear lever section 'webbed' out and then the top edge of the dash piece wrinkled. Not a good look

I dont have to worry about that anymore :D
