It finally has thawed enough in the NY metro area to have the top down. I had my first couple of drives and of course it is great. I can't hear my stereo though. Is anybody else having issues hearng the stereo at max with the top down? Is there an upgade I can do without putting in an aftermarket stero? Thanks.
 
nope. At max, I can't hear the girlfriend sat next to me.. and she's louder than most things (and then the fight started).

if you're at max and you can still hear street noise, I think theres something wrong with your stereo :/
 
To be honest I never really looked at what stereo I had in mine. I think it must be the next up from standard as the bass seems good and I could hear it fine with the roof down on the motorway the other day!
 
Never had this problem and I do like my driving music loud. Whatever you fit/have open top motoring is not conducive to high quality audio reproduction.
