Hi, My daughter just sold her car and bought a Lexus RX 400h. She gave me her Stereo (see pic) its a double din (what ever that means) it cost her about £500.00.
Question is, is there anyway on earth I can fit this in my Z?
Rgds,

If you remove the air vents an get a custom surround you'll have a chance, I think some on here have 3d printed a surround

Thanks, that looks really good!
I am not too clued up on these things but, how can I use this to fit my double din?...please.

If you have a 3D Printer, download the files, print the most recent iteration (From memory it's numbered _27 or something).
Ideally in PETG

If you don't have a 3D Printer - try a 3D Printing Online hub such as https://www.3dhubs.com/manufacture/ where you can upload the STL file and get a quote

Sorry for the late reply! Haha.. only just logged in and seen my notifications.

I did try making one of your fascias but failed as it was in 2 halves and had to glue together which didnt go well. Recently tried again on my newer Ender 3 PRo and can fit one of the fascias at a very tight angle... but the main one i wanted with the air vents wont fit in any orientation so your 3DPrinter must be massive! CR10??

Forget 3d printing or plastic covers, the only way you will get a double din to fit in even the slightest way to look oem is to shape the panel using wood or some other type of insert with filler and then paint or wrap it. The panel is beveled and looks rotten with a flat screen from the side and even from the front imo, so needs shaping to create a flatter surface where the head unit fits in to blend it all together. The vents need to be blocked as trying to make mickey mouse side vents without some sort of piping will just heat the head unit and provide nothing in terms of direct heat, it'll be just a draught and therefore pointless which they pretty much are anyway if you have the heat setting in auto. This was done 8 years ago and is a reasonable attempt, but if it didn't have vents and was smoothed out and painted/wrapped it would look way better.
