stereo buttons wearing?

Only had the car three days. But the "mode" button on the stereo is wearing away.

Anyone here experience this?

Stop playing with your buttons! The position 6 button on my stereo lets me scroll through my i-pod lists so that's getting a bit 'shiny' looking.

Never seen that one, none of my BMWs have wear on the "mode" button.

not even on the old radio that got replaced.

nowt on mine either and it's probably as old a z4 stereo as you'll find here

I bet you a quid the previous owner was female. Or possibly a tranny. Its makeup products....you should see my wifes laptop keyboard and car controls....polished to perfection with no lettering whatsoever, and she only uses expensive stuff.
