I went for the non-chronograph, I do love the Monaco but I have skinny wrists and the chronograph just looks massive on me. This one looks just right :)

It is my first 'expensive' watch though, it felt a bit perverse just buying the thing!

visited the showroom earlier this year and whilst i wished the Motorsports models came with automatic movements there are great watches and fantastic customer service. My favourite is the C65 which is similar in style to the Omega Seamaster Aquaterra .

Be careful, if you get into watches it can be an expensive hobby :)

You bought a great watch in the Monaco, in fact I sold my Steve McQueen Monaco 12 months ago and kinda regret it now :(



The money from the Monaco went towards my Tag Carrerra Monaco Grand Prix, lovely heavy feeling watch just unsure I like it over the square faced Monaco but like that its limited in numbers,

Cheers, I was looking at the motorsport and aviation watches the other day and seriously tempted and their prices are very reasonable and similar to Steinhart in price range :thumbsup:

cant recommend them enough Tim - great company to deal with Christopher Wards other half runs the customer services dept and she is outstanding - very good forum as well - similar in vibe to here . Steinhart are CWs biggest competitor / bench mark.
