Yes is the answer... a straight plug and play and for the MFSW controls to work. If the car was built before October 2003 it would need a 2 wire modification to make it work.

I cannot seem to find the pt no. of the manual steering wheel , let alone the pt no. for a MFSW one to replace it.
If I gave you the VIN no. of my Z4 could you at all be of assistance ? ...I would be most grateful...
