No, I never had an aggro - not that stupid!

I always tried to stay away from BL products - which may be why I haven't owned a Mahindra either!

It was Google, honest!

Didn't BL have some great colours back then - Harvest Gold, Tobacco Leaf, Albatross Beige..................!

Yes. I had a 'Mustard Custard Yellow' Mini 1275 GT with a brown Webasto sun roof. Great car, as long as you were on the inside.

In the days before power steering was common, the steering wheel had to be quite large diameter. I suppose a good way to try and provide a bit more leg clearance on the Austin. Seem to remember driving a Rover SD1 with a squarish steering wheel.
I guess the wheel you are looking at is trying to look like a F1 car wheel. Seems Mclaren gone a bit square. Might work as something you don't think about is how far we turn the zed wheel to turn. Thinking about my zed wheel, seems to be about 90 for 90 turn (correction 360 for a 90), which is quite good. My wheel as it stands obscures the top of the dials in it's most comfortable position.

Mahindra ?? a curry maybe :|

seems a lot - if you go to Jack @royal steering wheels I'm pretty sure he can do it for half the price using your existing wheel

My first car was an Allegro.

Splashtrump brown.

1750HL, twin Su carbs, it was pretty nippy.

1977, reg no RRS8R.....plate would probably worth a few quid now....

I paid £250 for the car in 1987. Sold it a year later for £250. Thought I was Rockafella at the time

Bought a Mk 1 Lotus Cortina in 1968 for £495 sold it a year later for £475, thought I'd done a good deal, they're now selling for 40k plus. doh
