Steering wheel woes.

Really hope someone has a fix for this - the plastic on the steering wheel is showing traces of wear. It is right beneath the leather where one grips the wheel - on the plastic next to the volume / track up / down.

Didn't think I was such a nervous driver :driving:

Will have the trim covered with leather if no-one has a quicker fix.

As far as i know i think the trims sit on top of the leather,hope that was of some help but i'm sure someone will be along shortly to confirm that :thumbsup:
 
When you say plastic; I presume you mean the plastic were the steering wheel buttons are that control the volume, tracks, etc. The plastic on the steering wheel will show traces of wear fast. My Z4M had traces of wear on these places after 40.000Km. I also have some spots on the leather of my steering wheel. The leather on the wheel is a bit thin and the wear look normal. I have seen other Z4M's with the same mileage and they had the same traces of wear. I replaced the plastic on the steering wheel with new plastics (easy to do yourself).
