Steering Wheel Vibration

Notice that when I'm doing just over 80 there is some vibration on the steering wheel as if the wheels are not balanced properly.

Only happens over 80mph.

Anyone got any ideas whether this is the balancing / alignment or something else I should worry about.

If it is at higher speed only, then it is more than likely you need to get the wheels balanced again. Had the same problem on mine and its now sorted.

It costs about a £5 a wheel and does make a big difference , get balancing done before you think about big bill problems

How many miles on it?? It's either alignment/balance/tires worn like stated but if you have a lot of mileage it could be deeper front end issues..

There's 23500 on the clock at the moment.

It is only at higher speeds.

Tyres are not worn at all so I'll get them balanced again before I start worrying.

Balance the wheels. Are you mixing treads? Tramlining? Fit a strut? Correct pressures?

:?

There's less than 10'000 miles on the Goodyears.

Eagle F1's all round.

The tyre pressure is checked once or twice a week.

I'll get them balanced first.
