Steering wheel upgrade question

Morning all
I am thinking about changing my standard 'skinny' mfsw for a M one but there are not many with the buttons ...can the switch gear be swapped from my wheel to an M non mfsw ??

From all I've seen the side spokes are identical. BMW aren't one to produce two sets of things if they can only do one.

Another option is to fit a Mewant cover if you just want it a bit fatter?
Or possibly even a Royals refurb as they can fatten it up too.

Ok thanks ...I have looked at both the Royal and mewant options....will look again , have heard good things about both .
Does anyone know how much Royals charge and the turn around time ?
I was thinking also about having the wheel with the black trims ...not a fan of the shiny shiny ones :roll:
I suppose I could spray/wrap/hydrodip mine

What are the mewant covers like to fit and how much do they thicken the wheel by ...

I have too.
A couple of hours and a bit of patience, with the wheel off the car.
They thicken the wheel about halfway between standard and Msport I reckon.

I went with faux leather with the perforated sides and red stitching to match the seats. Seems pretty good to my untrained eye.

£180 now! Wow their prices have gone up! Wont stop be using them though, they do an incredible job!
