Steering wheel Tristar covers anyone?

Badly written I guess
The covers cost £143 new from BMW
I thought that price included pod covers that go over surround and actual pods

It sadly doesn't per pic it simply includes base M and two surrounding pod covers

Pods from Bmw are sold at £293 for the pair
Therefore £293 + £143= £436 to look all new and shiny

I am certainly not selling my used ones for £200
Miss read buddy

Pretty much anywhere in germany, they will post to the uk for €20 or so, and obviously no import tax as in the EU.
One here is £435 for instance.

Then sell your old wheel for £200 as angleus suggests.

Yep, maybe I wasn't clear....why didn't you just buy a whole new wheel??? You'd get a decent wedge for your used one to offset part of that cost. For the trim parts I think you'd only get £20 or so...(tbh not exactly sure who'd buy used trim parts???)

Ah the joys of my not thinking it through properly I guess haha

Thanks Tom doesn't mention 3.2 m on the fitment list?
Prob same wheel
Though airbag maybe an issue I don't know id have to speak to tech
Cheers for advice though :)

Yeah my bad, wrong part number, the correct one is about 25€ more.
The price of the trims on their own is ridiculous as you have found.

Cheers buddy as think other wheel skinnier
What's deal with airbag then?
Plug and play or dealer job?
And thank you for help
As if got pods I'd actually be paying more than a new wheel haha

Wheel swap takes 5 mins, plug and play. Disconnect battery, leave for 20 mins to be safe, pop out airbag with the two side springs, disconnect the 2 mfsw leads, unscrew centre nut and you're done. Loads of youtube guides I'm sure out there.

Took my own advice and just ordered one, my scruffy wheel's been bothering me for ages. £485 delivered, not too bad seeing as a retrim would cost £150 at least + trims are pretty knackered and hopefully I can recoup some on my old wheel.

Haha love it;)
Got the bug too!
Thing is as said rest of car is mint
So it's the wheel that stands out as everyone looks at dash
Did you get from that site link You sent me?
N thanks again buddy

To be honest other bits of trim etc I'm not THAT fussed about, the things I touch however is a different story. One of the first things I did is change the gearknob when I got it and I've been meaning to do the steering wheel for bloody ages, so thanks for the reminder!
Ooh new steering wheel, cannae wait :)
ordered from here in the end http://www.carparts-pros.com/
You might want to wait and see if mine actually turns up lol.

Haha buddy
I like your style!!
I'll await yours arriving then;)
If can let me know when does pretty please
Yeah the gear knob and gater I shall be doing after this .
As the leather feels like glorified paper and think would make a big difference hence my other post
As BMW f10/11 I don't know if is lit
But it has 4way split which I like as will cover flutes on existing area

Hey tom

Spoke to BMW today
I can get wheel from them and delivered for £585 n 2 yr warranty
Then sell mine
So pondering

Yep, that sounds about right. Question is do you want a 2yr warranty for an extra £100? What exactly is going to go wrong with a steering wheel you'd have to ask yourself...

Haha good point
But able to through it at them if did go wrong haha
Awaiting yours coming through:)

Well it turned up this morning, only wish I'd ordered it sooner, what a difference!

Have to admit, I was about to post as a smarty pants that I could buy the trims for £99 delivered... but £250 for a new wheel makes much more sense (in the nonsensical world of cars obsession).
