Steering Wheel refurb

Royals have got mine at the moment, cant wait to see the finished wheel and fit it!...does seem to have gone up since last year now £120+P&P , £110 last year.

There is a company local to me in Stafford i rang them for a quote, it entailed me taking it to them and fetching it back they were only doing the same as Royal and they wanted £250. :x

When you say "slippery", is it shiny? Could you post a photo as it would be mad to replace the wheel if it's simply dirty, not worn?

The colour has gone on the top of the wheel, wear and sunlight I should think. I did get a quote for a restoration but that was £65 so at £120 its a no brainer for all new, plus I have ordered the new one to be perforated leather at 3 & 9 oclock. I have also ordered some brand new spoke trims.

Where did the spoke trims come from and do they include the multifunction buttons?

I ordered a set from Sopers BMW came within two days bloody expensive £147 inc vat for that you get the large spoke cover at the bottom with the m badge and the two at 3 and 9 oclock but they are only surrounds, you do not get the buttons. I will get my set that are on refinished and sell them.
