Steering wheel options

So I’ve picked up an E85 2004 with a Multifunction steering wheel, but it’s not an MSport wheel and I prefer the thickness and feel of the MSport version.

Is it a case of ‘plug and play’ if I can find a nice Multifunction MSport or Z4M wheel ?

Are there any other plug and play options from other BMW models?

Many thanks

Easier to get it re-trimmed by Royal lSteering Wheel, they'll be able to make it exactly the same as a M-Sport.

As in ‘thickness’? and feel?

Yes, they will add extra padding to thicken it up, then stitching and leather options are up to you as it depends what you are looking to achieve.

Yep. Mine's M-Sport, but so you can have an idea of their work, here's mine (trim refurb was done by me, and they don't offer that service):
