Steering wheel off centre

Since ive had the e85 the steering wheel is slightly off centre ie to the left. The car tracks perfectly and doesnt wander at all.

I believe before me it has had a wheel damaged by a pot hole….and repaired. Ive inspected underneath and nothing looks bent or damaged. The front shocks I replaced recently.

I took a photo of the steering column at the top and i am wandering if it has been off and not put back properly due the green mark not aligning up to the spindle…..(whats it on your models?)

Cheers

It may have had the tracking adjusted or an alignment done somewhere like Kwik-Fit.

The previous owner of my car had an alignment at Kwik-Fit 2 months before I bought it and the steering wheel was off-centre. After changing wheels, removing spacers and altering the ride height (it has coil-overs) I got an alignment done by an ex-Sytner Indy who set up his own race cars and the way it drove was transformed. And the steering wheel sat straight!

Yup, get it tracked again, by someone who knows you have to set the steering wheel straight ahead before you start.
