Steering wheel not straight or wheel alignment?

Recently got my steering wheel refurbed by Royal Steering Wheels - they did a great job - however now my steering wheel doesn't sit straight and tbh it may have been like that before but because the wheel is nice and new I've probably noticed it more.

Jack (RSW) has said to come back and he'll fit it again but I just wanted to know whether there's any way of telling whether it's the steering wheel that needs refitting or the wheel alignment that's out. Is there way of checking?

Didn't want a wasted drive when the wheel is on okay and it's the wheels that need realigning. Everything feels spot on even at high speeds.
 
A full alignment will re centre the wheel anyway, and is always worthwhile. Depending on the distance, may also be cheaper than the fuel cost of returning..

Thanks for this. Is it a "Hunter Wheel Alignment" that I require or just "Wheel Alignment" - just need to know the technical term for when I call a few places tomorrow.
 
Take the airbag and bolt off to check the wheel is on the splines correctly. I'd not expect it to be wrong but it's the first thing I'd check.

There's a little mark isn't there on the steering wheel and bolt that you put the steering wheel back on to? I think I watched Jack align those perfectly when he positioned the new steering wheel.
 
Yes, he's done it enough times I'd not expect it to be wrong.

You could find that everything is spot on - total toe could be correct but just not centred.
